GIS: As a part of its endorsement of data sharing, AMBAG spearheaded the effort to create a regional roundtable of agencies and organizations working with GIS and spatial data.

Demographic Information: The California Department of Finance releases annual population counts for the state,  counties, and cities.

Clearinghouse: The Clearinghouse process is a forum for the early notification, review and evaluation of federal, state and local development activities potentially having an impact on the region. Additionally, the process is intended to promote intergovernmental coordination and sharing of planning information for the region.
